In 2007, Solar Freeze recognized the increasing demand for energy-efficient DC appliances and embarked on designing and developing their initial range of off-grid solar appliances. To ensure efficient production and assembly, Solar Freeze formed a partnership with an overseas company to manage manufacturing.
However, over time, Solar Freeze encountered numerous challenges with overseas manufacturing. These challenges ranged from unauthorized modifications to the final product to inconsistent production runs, resulting in unnecessary frustrations and liabilities. By 2015, Solar Freeze faced a critical decision: either abandon the entire venture or shift towards domestic manufacturing. After careful consideration, Solar Freeze determined that domestic manufacturing offered a more favorable solution.
With over 30 years of combined refrigeration expertise, Solar Freeze has taken the manufacturing process in-house at a state-of-the-art facility near Lagrange, Indiana. This strategic decision has not only led to a remarkable enhancement in quality but also resulted in a significant boost in energy efficiency. Our domestically manufactured units now surpass our previous imported models by achieving a remarkable 30-40% improvement in energy efficiency.

Our solar freezers and refrigerators are covered by a limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
The warranty period begins from the date of purchase and extends for a specified duration, typically stated in years.
Warranty Services:
In the event of a defect covered by the warranty, we will, at our discretion, repair or replace the defective product or its components.
The repair or replacement will be performed using new or refurbished parts of equal or superior quality.
Warranty Exclusions:
The warranty does not cover damages resulting from misuse, accidents, improper installation, unauthorized modifications, or negligence.
Damages caused by natural disasters, power surges, or acts of God are not covered under the warranty.
Consumable parts, such as light bulbs or batteries, are also not covered by the warranty.
Warranty Claim Process:
To initiate a warranty claim, customers must provide the model #, serial# of the unit along with proof of purchase, including the date and place of purchase.
Customers should contact our customer service department through the designated channels to report the issue and receive further instructions.
Warranty Limitations:
The warranty is applicable only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
Any repairs or modifications performed by unauthorized service providers may void the warranty.
The warranty does not cover any incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of our solar freezers and refrigerators.
